Charles Richard Currie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Richard Currie (Pass Christian, Mississippi), who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Charles Richard may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Charles Richard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jim Currie (Laura) and Bill Currie (Darlene); his sister-in-law Debbie Johnson; his sister Helen P. Currie; his wife Joyce Lynn Johnson; and also, Lance Power and Laurel McLaughlin. He is also survived by six nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (9062 Kiln Delisle Rd, Pass Christian, MS 39571). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Knights of Columbus the Most Holy Trinity Council 11995 or to the Humane Society of South Mississippi.
