With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Arthur Raymond Morgan (Pass Christian, Mississippi), born in Morton, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnestine Harvey Morgan and James Joseph Morgan; and his sister Frances Morgan Chapman. He is survived by: his children, Sy Morgan (Demi) of Hampton, Georgia, Iwanza Hamilton of Gulfport and Shira Henderson (LaVert, Jr.) of Fort Worth, Texas; his grandchildren, SiApria Morgan, Dedric Zachery, Dequila Buchanan of Willie Gamble, Mi, Kel Madden, LaVert Henderson, III and Emmanuel Henderson; and his siblings, Lionel Morgan (Barbara) of Ivor and Tina Hilton (Mark) of Germantown. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church (322 Davis Ave, Pass Christian, MS 39571). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
