She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie August and Rita Brown August; her brothers, Charles "Scootney" Brown and William "Wimp" Brown; her brother-in-law James Sonny Holmes; her sisters, Rita Theresa DeLavallade and Alvarine Marie Ramsey; her sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Jackie Moffett and Dorothy Dianne Holmes; her nieces and nephews, Dameon Lamont Holmes, Norman Lorenzo, Cordero Holmes, Erica Jordan Brown and LaQuisha Charelle Holmes; and her grandchildren, Jalaya Hall and Ja'Shaun Hall.
She is survived by: her husband Rev. Larry E. Holmes, Sr.; her children, Tiffanie Harris (Chris), Ravenn Johnson (Hendrix), Natasha Holmes, Alicia Holmes, Larry Holmes (Doris) and Deshon Holmes; her grandchildren, Giovanni Johnson, Gialanda Johnson, Talique Dudley, Richard Salter III (Valencia), Takiah Anderson, Gi'Narious Johnson, Giordyn Johnson, Alaysha Holmes, Dahylia Williams, Jeremiah Holmes, NeVeah Holmes, Cameron Thompson, Akira Smith, Diamond Smith, Elvonti Smith, Kiondra Holmes, Sky Smith, Miracle Smith and Leonidus Smith; her great grandchild Grayson Johnson; and her siblings, Margie Dedeaux, Esther Swanier (John), Shirley Brown, Judy Hattix (Cornell), Sandra Henshaw, Larry Brown (Mary), Timothy Brown (Helen), Bruce Brown (Rita), Michael Brown and Kenneth Brown. She is also survived by relatives and close friends.
