He was predeceased by: his father Eddie Walker Whitley; and his sisters, Virginia Hopper and Billie Joyce Bethay. He is survived by: his wife Vonnie Whiley; his children, Wanda Riley (Ray), Randy Whitley (Susan), Jerry Whitley (Rhonda) of Hurley, MS and Anthony Whitley (Maria) of Lucedale, MS; and his siblings, Ray Whitley and Deanie Skelton (Sarah Brackeen) of Booneville, MS. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild with another great- great grandchild.
