She was predeceased by: her parents, Gabe Newell and Vera Newell; her husband Colon Edwards; her children, Debra Gayle and Douglas Wilson Edwards; and her siblings, Ottis Hardee Newell, Darlene and Albert S. "Billy" Newell.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Kelly Tate (Chuck) of Mobile, AL, Hayley Stilwell (Mark) of Mobile, AL and Colin Edwards (Whitney) of Little Rock, AR; her sisters, Camille "Bop" Green and Catherine "Sue" Carey; and her great grandchildren, Adam Stilwell, Hugh Edwards and Wade Edwards. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
