She was predeceased by: her husband Jesse Robert Browning, Sr.; her parents, Thomas H. Ladnier, Sr. and Audrey Clements Ladnier; and her brother Thomas H. Ladnier, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Harty Browning Couey (Charles) and Jesse Robert Browning, Jr. Jackson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Laura Couey, Amy Couey, Lauren Browning Rabalais (Jim) and Elliott Browning; and her great grandchildren, Eva Marie Rabalais and Emma Jane Rabalais.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her church, St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
