She is survived by: her significant other Johnson Adebayo Awofeso; her children, Sade Denise Williams and Joseph Eugene Awofeso; her mother Marion Denise Fox of Gautier, MS; her sister Betty Ann (Jerry) Hopson; her aunts and uncles, Lynette Davis of Pascagoula, MS, Cheryl Thomas, Tammy Williams-Covan of Moss Point, MS, Felicia Lockett of St. Petersburg, FL, Terri Copeland of St. Petersburg, FL, Vickie Riley of Valdosta, GA, Jesse Lewis (Katie), Willie Williams (Kimberly), Maurice Fox of Valdosta, GA, Johnny (Sandra), Jeffery Copeland of St. Petersburg, FL and Jerome Copeland of St. Petersburg, FL; her great-uncles, Gary Manchester (Mary Ann), Willie Manchester and Willie Hopson of Moss Point, MS; her siblings-in-law, Dr. Durojaiye Awofeso, Ayodele Awofeso, Moses Awofeso, Babalola Awofeso, Segun Awofeso, Sunday Awofeso, Ibironke Ogunmaja and Abosede Onileyan; her nieces, Asia Hopson and Averi Hopson; her nephew Adrian Hopson; her goddaughter Tarencia Glaude of Pascagoula, MS; and also Jairus O'Neal (Washington, DC). She is also survived by classmates, co-workers and friends.
After the onset of the pandemic, the online worship service became the gateway for Sadie to continue her faithful connection to Union Baptist Church through virtual worship.
