It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruthie C. Jones of Pascagoula, Mississippi, born in Philadelphia, Mississippi, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anderson Adcock and Nellie Nowell Adcock; and her siblings, Carnette, Carnell, Charles, Rupert Adcock, Lounez Whinery and Fronie Michell.
She is survived by: her husband John Henry Jones; her siblings, Grady Adcock, J. D. Adcock (Yvonne), Margie Dunn, Barbara Jones and Mary Dyess; and her siblings-in-law, Jo Adcock, Irene Adcock and Bill Mitchell. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, helpful neighborhood friends.
Because of the COVID-19 regulations there will not be a visitation time directly with the family but her body will lie in state from 10:00-11:00am for viewing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her church, Riverside Baptist Church, 2211 Canty Street, Pascagoula, Mississippi 39567.
