He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Modica and Margaret Modica; his son Robert P. Modica; and his brothers, Michael Modica and Mark Modica.
He is survived by: his wife Susanne Modica; his children, Michael W. Modica (Amy Hataway) and Christine M. Modica; his grandchildren, Elias Roy, Hadley Hataway and Harper Modica; and his siblings, Missy Hensley (David), Edward Modica (Joyce), Steven Modica and Matthew Modica.
