He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Clinton Gilbert and Mildred Frances Kitchens Gilbert; his son Andrew "Drew" Clinton Gilbert; and his brother William Earl Gilbert. He is survived by: his daughter Erin Gilbert-Yarger (Andrew Yarger); his grandchildren, Jon Taylor Yarger, Mary Paige Yarger, Cecilia Yarger and Joseph Yarger; his brother Jerry Gilbert (Sandy); his nephews, Chris Gilbert, Scott Gilbert (Jenny), Brian Gilbert (Jennifer) and Casey Gilbert (Katie); his niece Dixie Gilbert-Cain (Ricky); and his cousin Phillip Berry (Glenda). He is also survived by Numerous great nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
