He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Leon Rutland and Mary Jo Sharp Rutland; his former wife Joan Rutland; and his sister Pam Rutland. He is survived by: his sons, Ryan Matthew Rutland (Amber) of Huntsville, AL and Jon Shelton Rutland; his grandson Parker Karl Green; and his sister Kim May. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and great friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideon International or Arlington Baptist Church in Buck's memory.
