It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Dryden (Pascagoula, Mississippi), born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on April 7, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Dryden and Eliza Jackson Bradley; his uncles, Alfonso Jackson and Andrew Jackson; and his cousins, Earnest Jackson, Henry Chatman and Inez Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Dryden of Biloxi, MS; and his children, Marcus Dryden (Felicia) of Biloxi, Richard Dryden, Jr. (Tracey) of Biloxi, Angela Fairley of Biloxi, Dr. Monica Pope (Darryl), Reggie Robertson of Gulfport, MS, Georgette White of Biloxi, MS and Julius Richburg. He is also survived by twenty-five grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
