He is survived by: his wife Betty Salter Gagnon; his children, Richard Gagnon, Jr. (Sheila), Jessie Gagnon (Amey), Henry Gagnon (Amber) and Marguerite Nason; his siblings, Joe Gagnon and Mary McDermott; and his stepsons, Timothy Salter and Danny Salter (Debra). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and step grandchildren.
