She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Vandergrift; her parents, Kirby Travis Wise and Jimmie E. Wise; her son Farris Todd Griffin; and her siblings, James "Pep" Wise, Travis Wise, Jr., Gaylon Wise and Jeanette Forrest.
She is survived by: her sons, John Tate Griffin (Kathleen) of San Angelo, TX and Timothy Griffin (Carol); her sister Carolyn Bunt (Virgil) of White Oak, TX; her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Wise of Bartahatchie, MS, Brenda Wise of Okolona, MS and Dee Wise of Okolona, MS; her close friends, Marsha Hnat, James Blackwell and Phyllis McCormack; and also Anita D. Williams. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Heart Foundation.
