She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert J. Borden and Theresa Wells Nettles (Borden); her husband Irving Richardson, Jr.; her son Michael Richardson; her stepmother Margaret Borden; and her godparents, Samuel and Nelsena Gladney.
She is survived by: her aunt Annie R. Richardson. She is also survived by five nephews, one godson, one goddaughter, ten nieces, and a host of great-nephews, great-nieces and cousins.
She also devoted her time to charitable causes, raising and donating money for organizations that include FEMA, the Red Cross, and causes supporting the homeless, senior citizens and cancer victims.
