It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtis Holifield Adams of Pascagoula, Mississippi, born in Laurel, Mississippi, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Leon Holifield and Grace Sellers Holifield; her husband Herbert Frank Adams; and her siblings, Voncile "Sis" Powell and Lavern Holifield.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Leake (Larry) and Todd Adams (Karen) of Madison, MS; and her grandchildren, Christopher Myers, Josh Myers (Kellie), Jeffery Adams and Randi Adams. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, close teacher friends, and devoted friends.
