“I'm very sorry to hear about Mike's passing. Even though he is one of my dad's friends. He was like a friend of me too. He helped coach my little league team, he sat next to me at the Raider games, and he always took time to check in with me and ask me about myself. When I graduated high school he gave me this nice metal pen and I used that pen on every paper I wrote and test I took in college. I remember how proud he was when he became a dad. He loved Sam more than anything in the world.”

“Growing up as an only child, I didn't have that older sibling to show me the ropes. Luckily I had one of the greatest dads a kid could ask for. Countless days on the baseball diamond or shooting hoops together. Taking the reigns as our Pop Warner football team's offensive coordinator. Teaching me how to keep working hard while having fun. Dealing & helping with my adolescence and a constantly breaking down '65 Mustang. Instilling into me a love of sports, nature, and history. Love you Dad”
