She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Donald Capps; her parents, Toby Parker and Blanche Parker; her son-in-law Joe Chapman; her siblings, Loriela Tee (John), Gloria Bozeman, Todd Parker (Janet), Brownie Parker, Hank Parker and Burnell Parker; and her sisters-in-law, Elaine Parker and Shelia Parker.
She is survived by: her children, Connie Chapman, Liz Cumbest (Don), Martha Breceda (Steve), Ralph Capps (Belinda) and Philip Capps (Melissa); her grandchildren, Jana Chapman, Candi Ford (Nathan), Micha Miller (Jonathan), Kyle Cumbest (Kristen Rush), Courtney Haynes (Justin), Jordan Hinton (T. C. Hubbard), Addi Capps, Maddi Capps, Rosie Boyte (Rowdy) and Haley Reed (Randall); her siblings, Lynda Brown (Bennie), Rufus Parker (Brenda), Dobin Parker, Tubby Parker, Toby Ray Parker (Robbie) and Randy Parker (Shelia); her siblings-in-law, Jeannie Parker, Maggie Parker, Mary Parker and Bill Bozeman; and her close friend Sue Brown. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Johnson Cemetery.
