She was predeceased by: her parents, James Willis and Tonnette Elizabeth Wallace Willis; and her daughter Myrtle Willis Hayes. She is survived by: her daughter Shirley Polk (Edward) of LaPlace, LA; her granddaughters, Marion "Pooh" DuBose-Knowles (Joseph) of Moss Point, MS and Toscha DuBose (Charles) of Moss Point, MS; and her close friend Melva Chapman of Pascagoula, MS.. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; eleven great-great-grandchildren; a host of nephews and nieces.
