She is survived by: her brother Charles Couey (Harty); her brother-in-law Ken Koffel; her niece Laura Singleton Maples (Lewis); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lewis, Johnna Maples, Lindsey, Weldon Benton and Landon Maples; her nieces, Laura Couey, Amy Couey, Donna Doggett Phelps (Gregg) and Theresa Koffel Copeland (Chris); her nephew David Singleton (Theresa); her granddaughter Brittany McDaniel (James); her great grandchildren, Noah, Jaxon, Kynnedi, Mattie Jo Maples, Mason, Wrenley, Isaac, Asher Benton and Ellis McDaniel; her great-niece Caroline Phelps; her close friend Una Colville; and also, Elbert Singleton, Jr. (Lisa) and Brad Singleton.
One such charity close to her heart was helping to raise money for a Haitian orphanage supported locally.
