It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Richardson of Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on January 11, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewitt Talmage and Willie Ruth Tait (Stanton); her grandparents, Ivan, Abbie Stanton, Prince Albert Tait and Rose Anna Tait; her children, Synthea, Beverly Ann Nettles (Richardson), Willie Ray Richardson, Jr. and Gerald Quinton Richardson; and her siblings, William Talmage Tait, Harvey Bernard Tait, Robert Edward Tait, Thomas Quincy Tait, Charles Dewitt Tait, James Vernon Tait, Julia Moore McClammey (Tait), Eloise Howard Ford (Tait) and Rose Abbie Goldsmith (Tait).
She is survived by: her children, Thea M. Richardson, James Alan Richardson of Gautier, MS and Leslie Raymon Richardson; her children-in-law, Donald Scott Nettles of Pascagoula, MS and Sheila Anderson Richardson of Pascagoula, MS; her sisters, Leola Hudson Robinson of Century, FL and Martha Ary Davison; her sisters-in-law, Sarah Jean Tait of Moss Point, MS and Mattie Bell Tait of Moss Point, MS; and her granddaughter Dr. Megan LaShea Richardson. She is also survived by seven grandsons, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
