He is survived by: his wife Linda Noble Cumbest; his children, Holly Monroe of Scottsboro, AL and Kelly Cumbest (Sherry Aycock); his grandchildren, Stephanie Douglas (Sanders) of Scottsboro, AL, Zoe Davis of Scottsboro, AL, Josey Monroe of Scottsboro, AL, Aaron Knight (Taylor) of Flintstone, GA., Collin of Pascagoula, MS., Iain of Pascagoula, MS., Lillian of Pascagoula, MS. and Carolyn Cumbest of Pascagoula, MS.; his great grandchildren, Aiden, Scout, Merida and Scarlett; his siblings, Billie Smith (Terky) and Tommy Cumbest; his brother-in-law Wyattie Dunn; and his caregivers, Jathan, Dana and Becky. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
