It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lydia Poole DeWeese of Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on August 28, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Lisa Hollis (Raymond) of Troy, AL, Penny Longstreth (Charles) of Mobile, AL and Richard "Dickie" Lillie (Shannon) of Pascagoula, MS.; her grandchildren, Ashley Pittman (Josh), Gina Franklin, Lindsey Hollis (Chad) and Juan Alexander of Mobile, AL.; her stepgrandchildren, Wayne Hollis (Danielle) of Hurley, MS, Tara Steward (Chris) of D'Iberville, MS and Stephanie Shaw (Jimmy) of New Port Richey, FL.; her siblings, Irvin Poole (Paulette), Gerald, Nelda Rice (David) and Anna Rice Grand Bay (Jessie); her son David "Bo" Alexander Jr.; her parents, Irvin Poole and Anna Stork Poole; and her brothers, Roy Poole, Calvin Poole, Herman Poole (Tunie) and Kerry Poole (Ebb). She was also cherished by 10 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
