She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Louis Abel; and her parents, Ruth Kendrick and J. T. Kendrick. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Walley (Glenn) of Pascagoula, MS, Jeffrey Abel (Carla) of Racine and Joy Abel Davis of Petal, MS; her siblings-in-law, Brynda and David Moore; her grandchildren, Justin Walley, Claiborne, Lizzy, Camille Davis, Nathan, Hayden, Meredith Abel, Mckenzie Dunn, Hannah Scott, Cecily and Tai Johnson; and her friends, Carleen Scott, Sandra Morgan, Mary Margaret Lawrence and Thuy Sherman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
