He is survived by: his wife Jeryn Bates; his children, Kaleigh Ann Bates, Ella Bates, Loxley Bates, Bryson Bates, Lawson Bates and Brinkley Bates; his parents, Larry K. Bates Sr. (K. C.) and Darlene Rushing Bates; his brother Robert Charles Bates (Michelle); his stepbrothers, Keith Barrett (Elizabeth) and David Barrett (Tammy); his parents-in-law, Stewart and Cindy Frederic; and his aunts and uncles, Linda, Steve Moody, Bobby and Jackie Bates. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
