She is survived by: her children, Vernon Cook Jr. (Cindy), Cathy Reid and Sharon Smith (Thomas); her grandchildren, Thomas E Smith, III, Jerrid Smith (Ebony), Johnathan Smith, Christopher Cook (Kate), Crystal Hibbler (Rod), Sakinah Reid and Shannon Cook; her great grandchildren, Roderick, Kelsey, Mikayla, Madyson, Thomas IV and Zuri; her sister Bertha Lawrence; her sister-in-law Betty Lawrence; and her close friends, Linda Nicholson, Dennis, Kathy Walker, Lottie Dread, Bobby Manning, Donald Moffett and Avon Polk.
