He was predeceased by: his parents, William Conrad and Verna Vancourt Westphal; and his siblings, William Conrad Westphal Jr., Norman Frederick Westphal, Arsene Westphal, Eloise Armour, Marie Seiler, Betty Stewart, Bertha Lane, Verna Dufault and Barbara Larson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews.
