He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh L. and May Potts Ezell; and his brother Edward L. Ezell. He is survived by: his wife Angela Ezell; his children, John M. Ezell, Jr. (Shana), Hannah M. Clayton, Brittany Pierce, Brandon Pierce and Cody L. Ezell (Lane Jones); his former wife Janell Pierce; his grandchildren, Tanner Ezell, Layla Ezell, Brent A. Mallette and Molly Ann Clayton; and his siblings, Alan W. Ezell, Sr. (Carol), Susan May Nichols and Mamie Futch (David). He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
