He was predeceased by: his parents, J. T. Abston and Frances Abston; his grandparents, Norman, Mary Alice Abston, Arliss C. and Etta Nowlin; his uncles, Charles Abston, Sam Nowlin, Jerry Nowlin and Colon Hataway; and his mother-in-law Margaret "Lavern" Beckham.
He is survived by: his daughter Briana; his wife Missy Abston (Beckham); his daughter Maggie Abston; his sister Melissa Callahan (Jerry); his niece Haley; his nephew Dylan; his parents-in-law, Danny and Janice Beckham (Davis); his sister-in-law Amy Prince (Brandon); his nieces and nephews, Taylor and Ethan; his sister-in-law Angie Miller (Vernon); his nephew Dustin; his niece Victoria Miller; and his aunts and uncles, Tommy Abston (Janith), Richard Abston (Carol), Judy Halbert, Dot Barrintin, Faye Nowlin, Ferrell Nowlin, James Nowlin (Floree), Merle Nowlin, Loretta Piland (Tyler), Mary Nell Hataway, Boyd Beckham (Brenda), Janet Hudgins, Judy Whitehead (Larry), Rose Rigby (Charles), Kay Dozier (Mike) and Phillip Brown (Bridgette). He is also survived by cousins and numerous other relatives and dear friends.
