Jewel Davis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2023, at the age of 80, Jewel Davis of Pascagoula, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Herbert Milton Long and Geneva Lenon Long Glenn; her grandparents, Samuel Lenon, Channie Lenon (Wade), Authur and Fredonia Long; her stepfather Cecil Glenn; her siblings, Clyde, Catherine Bonds and Mary Currie (Teenie); her children, Kenneth O. Knox, Deborah E. Finklea (Gerard) of Pascagoula, MS, Audrey D. Bowens (Mozell) of South Bend, Indiana and John H. Davis II of Gulfport, MS; her sister Lillie Barnes of Moss Point, MS; her daughter-in-law Vicki L. Knox of Gautier, MS; her goddaughter Cassandra Leverette of Moss Point, MS; and her friends, Franzetta Sanders, Jeryll Ann Nelson, Christell Green, Sarah Nelson, Annie Broughton and Annie Sherrod. She was also cherished by 9 grandchildren 7 great grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Jewel went home to be with the Lord on September 6th, 2023 at 4:08 am after a courageous fight with Dementia (Alzheimer's Disease).
