It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Howell of Pascagoula, Mississippi, born in White Bluff, Tennessee, who passed away on November 27, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Edward Howell of White Bluff and Ruth Lane Sullivan; his father-in-law Harry (Sully) of Murfreesboro; and his sister Mary Marjati Howell of White Bluff. He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his children, Jerry Wayne Howell of Pascagoula, Kellie Lane Crowder (Steve) of Ocean Springs and Paul Wesley Howell (Erlinda) of Shalimar; his stepmother Ernah Manaida Howell of Pascagoula; his brothers, David Lane Howell (Christy) of Nashville, John Howard Howell of Maynardville and James Benjamin Howell (Ellen) of Ocean Springs; and his grandchildren, Alexis Joy Howell, Anna Kate Pettis, Bailie Lane Pettis and Jarrett Pettis. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Public visitation, masks required, will be at O'Bryant O'Keefe Funeral Home in Pascagoula on Thursday, December 3, 2020 6 p. m. - 8 p. m. Due to the Covid epidemic, a private memorial service will be held at St. John's Episcopal Church in Pascagoula on Friday, December 4, 2020, followed by a procession and private burial at Biloxi National Cemetery in Biloxi, MS.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. John's Episcopal Church Pascagoula memorial fund.
