He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Earl Costict and Betty Jean Costict; and his brother Edward Charles Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Faye Costict; his daughter Jaleesa Costict (Saleta) of Pascagoula, MS; his siblings, Pamela Freeman of Memphis, TN, Jeannine Costict of Pascagoula, MS, Tomeka Costict of Pascagoula, MS, Melvin Costict of Memphis, TN and Timothy Costict (Monica) of Memphis, TN; his siblings-in-law, Sandra Russell, Carol Baxter (Kenneth), Dennis Lawson (Sonya), Eric Lawson (Sarah) and Frederick Lawson (Yolanda); his grandchildren, Symba Crawford, Shaquille Butler and Shaquan Butler; his aunts and uncles, Maggie Young (Frank), Diane Costict, Georgia Coleman, David Costict, Tony Costict and Eddie Wayne Costict; and his friend Christine Logan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives.
