Moore of Pascagoula, Mississippi, born in Kosciusko, Mississippi, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guy Wilson Moore, Sr. and Jessie Eudora Scott Moore; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his sons, Thomas Christian Moore of New Orleans and Benjamin Lee Scott Moore; his wife Lucy of Pascagoula; his daughter-in-law Gretchen of Wake Forest; and his brother-in-law Thomas Seay Leatherbury, Jr. of Pascagoula. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that contributions in Guy's memory be made to the First Presbyterian Church (1819 Pascagoula St., Pascagoula MS 39567) or to the University of Mississippi Foundation (406 University Ave., Oxford MS 38655) with an accompanying note "for the Guy and Lucy Moore Endowment Fund").
