He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Frank Russell, Sr. and Rufus Cleveland Lee; his brothers, Max Russell and John Russell (Randy); and his grandson Carson Russell.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Davis (Darryl "Buddy"), Sabrina Medina and Gerald R. "Bobo" Russell, Jr.; his former wife Gloria Ann Russell; his siblings, Eddie F. Russell, Jr. (Susan), Sharon Blythe and Mark Lee; his grandchildren, Lauren Davis, Roxanne Russell, Summer King, Mary Russell, Christopher Odom, Jodie Shea, Steven Kendrick, Anna Kendrick and Emily Kendrick; and his great grandchildren, Gabbie Stephenson, Henri Rhett Serigne, Jayden Russell, Realeigh Russell, Tatum Russell, Scottland Veitch and Xavier Kendrick-Barreto. He is also survived by loving family members and friends.
