It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emmitt Simmons of Pascagoula, Mississippi, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Simmons and Myra Simmons (Tolar); his wife Margie Marie Simmons (Coker); and his siblings, Clarence, Clifford, Colon, Shelby, Barney (Neal), Ray, Cleta and Christine.

He is survived by: his children, Susan A. Simmons of Pascagoula, MS, Emmitt L. Simmons, Jr. (Pamela) of Baton Rouge, LA and Everett Simmons (Sharon) of Spokane, WA.; and his grandchildren, Alison (Ricaud), Warren Simmons of Baton Rouge and Alexander Simmons of Spokane, WA..
