He was predeceased by: his former wife Judy Jasper Holmes; his children, Ronald Holmes (Ronnie) and Samantha Holmes Crain (Mandy); his parents, Charles Holmes and Gertrude Holmes Butts; and his sister Catherine Parrish.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Holmes, Dorothy Jones, Robert Holmes, Stephen Holmes and Barry Holmes (Debbie) of Gautier; his wife Margaret Shackelford Jones Holmes; and his stepsons, Kerry Jones (Sena) of Gautier and Chris Jones (Melissa) of Pascagoula. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and friends.
