With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Dorothy J Carson (Pascagoula, Mississippi), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Dorothy left this world on December 5, 2024 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hayes and Betty Jean Hayes; her daughter Melissa Lynn Carson; and her siblings, Bobby Hayes and Carolyn King.

She is survived by: her husband Floyd Carson; her son Shain Carson (Tangela); her sister Patricia Gallagher (Robert); and her grandchildren, Christian, Jonathan, Nicholas and Christopher. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and her church family.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (3707 Bienville Blvd, Ocean Springs, MS 39564). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Wounded Warrior Project or to Grace Baptist Church in her memory.
