He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Johnnie Lewis and Glenn Montgomery; his brother Glenn Montgomery Jr.; his grandfather Lefy Evan Wilks; his daughter Laura Montgomery; his siblings, Frances Lewis (LiTanrence), Megan Montgomery, Demetrios Brown (Debreal), Emmanuel Cole (Zachquanna) and Travis Pierce; and his grandchildren, Frances Rhodes (Jeff), Sam Johnson, Anita Johnson, Johnathan Johnson, Anissa Johnson, Alyssa Johnson and Becky Johnson. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
