He is survived by: his sons, Lon Dudley Nix and Patrick Nix (Angela); his niece Kathy Sanford Hoffman; his grandchildren, Jordan, Ashley, Patrick, Robert, Christopher and Tori; and his great-nephew Ross Hoffman.
