He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Richardson and Ola Mae Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Vann Richardson; his son Dan Richardson (Misty); his grandchildren, Daniel, William Richardson, Abigail, Avery Leachman and Alex Cork; his brothers, Mike Richardson (Donna) and Jim Richardson (Jenny); his stepchildren, Kim Ellis (Jeff Leffoile), Johnny Nelms (Kathi) and Michael Bruner (Brittany); and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Bailey Ellis, Alex, Patrick, Rebecca Nelms, Aulton and Jones Bruner. He is also survived by his brothers and spending time with his children, grandchildren, and friends.
