He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Ricks and Myrtie Ricks; his son Richard Ricks; his grandson Lee Waldrep; and his son-in-law Robert Waldrep.
He is survived by: his wife June Martin Ricks of Pascagoula, MS; and his children, Elizabeth "Liz" Elford (Jack) of Pascagoula, MS., Charles Martin Ricks Jr. (Pam) of Pascagoula, MS, Tammie Waldrep of Jacksonville, MS, James Brian Ricks of Pascagoula, MS, Teresa Ricks of Pascagoula, MS and Keith Allen Ricks of Macungie, PA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
