We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 96, Betty Jean Robinson Oswald (Pascagoula, Mississippi), born in Biloxi, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Washington "Johnny" Robinson and Viola Estelle Collins Robinson; and her son Glenn Porter Dismukes, Jr.. She is survived by: her significant other Robert Holmes "Bob" Oswald; her children, Pamela Jean Dismukes Perkins (Weldon Darcy Perkins), Robert Holmes Oswald, Jr., Robyn Oswald Fairbanks and Rebecca Oswald; her grandchildren, Matthew Earl Perkins (Sarah), Darcy Rebecca Perkins Ross (Peter), Richard Holmes Perkins (Lindsey), Eric Zoller, Aaron Zoller, Luke Zoller (Rattana), Antoine Auger, Gabrielle Oswald Auger Crapser (Drew) and Philippe Auger; her great grandchildren, June Arlene Perkins, Matthew Weldon Perkins, William Marion Perkins, Samuel Perkins Ross, Benjamin Peter Ross, Eli James Ross, Libby Nan Perkins, Caroline Holmes Perkins, Zachary Zoller, Austin Zoller, Max Zoller, Mirabelle Zoller, Margot Auger, Marion Auger and Emma Holmes Crapser; her close friends, Evelyn, Carol, Marcia, Mary, Joyce and Peggy; and also Scott Castleman.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Homes (4811 Telephone Rd, Pascagoula, MS 39567). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity or organization of your choice or to the family's designated memorial: MGCCC Foundation to benefit the Jackson County Fine Arts Department.
