She was predeceased by: her parents, William, Sr. Torrey and Lusendia Torrey; her daughter Angelia Monique Powe; her siblings, Bennie Torrey, Sr., Robert Torrey, James Torrey, Alcee Torrey Haynes, Gaynell Torrey Stokes and Demtria "Ree" Torrey Floyd; her friend JoAnn Jackson; and her brother William "Mickey" Torrey.
She is survived by: her children, Jerome Powe, LaTonia Powe, Keila Howard, Joseph Powe (Melinda Moore) and Donnel Torrey (Tiffany); her grandchildren, Je'Coriah Powe, Quinnica Odom, Derrick W. Powe, Ashanti G. Brown of Demtrick, J. W, Khaliah A. Brown, Therelya Howard, Gabrielle Howard, Olympia Manning, NyKiriah Powe, D'Anthony Torrey and Doniya Torrey; her sisters-in-law, Jerry Torrey, Fannie Torrey and Rosia Torrey; her nieces, Stella Haynes, Linda Evette Liddell and Kim Bailey; and her close friends, Ida Webb, Mary Walley and Sandra Dilworth (Willie). She is also survived by great grandchildren; nieces and nephews who will truly miss "auntie".
