It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Purvis of Paris, Mississippi, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Herman Purvis and Ruth Eldridge Purvis. He is survived by: his wife Florence Elaine Purvis; his children, Billy Steven Purvis of Harmontown, MS, Michael Scott Coats of Murrieta, CA, Timothy Wayne Purvis of Medina, TN and Michelle Barbee of Paris, MS; and his siblings, David Michael Purvis of Arizona, Timothy Wayne Purvis of Murrieta, CA and Sue Purvis of California. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
