Johnnie left this world on November 17, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie L. Rushing Sr. and Lucille Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Jewell Johnson Rushing; his children, Gregory Rushing, Willie Campbell, Johnnie Rushing III and Sharron Rushing; and his siblings, Archie Jordan, Jimmie Dell Barry, James Aurthur Taylor, Donald Ray Taylor, Hester Ducre, Daisy Clay and Annie Ree Taylor. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren as well as other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mt. Jordan U. M. Church (13 Co Rd 315, Pachuta, MS 39347). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
