She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Barnett; her parents, James Cooley and Nellie Cooley; and her siblings, Annie Cooley, Mary Price, Maybell McDonald, Clara Mae Cooley Early, Willie Cooley, Wilmer Cooley and Wilson Cooley. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren.
