He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Thorpe and Minnie Mae Thorpe (Nichols); and his brother Harold Thorpe. He is survived by: his daughter Robin (Ron Cook); his grandsons, Doug Jr., Michael and Keith; his wife Mary Frances; his sons, Doug Jr. (Debbie Thorpe), Michael (Michelle Thorpe) and Keith (Paula Thorpe); his grandchildren, Sean Cook (Magan), Katie Hinson (Jarrod), Ian Cook (Shaun), Kaitlyn Gagnon (Craig), Taylor Thorpe (Taylor Ellis-Thorpe), Dylan Thorpe (Melanie), Deanna Thorpe, Christian Thorpe (Meagan), Alexis Thorpe and Dalton Thorpe; his great grandchildren, Chloe Griffin, Mackenzie Hinson, Finley Cook, James Hinson, Owen Cook, Xander Seibert, Harper Gagnon, Anna Grace Gagnon and Zane Thorpe; his siblings, Imogene Echols and Kenny Thorpe (Libby); his sister-in-law Lynette Thorpe; and his friends, Packy Mitchell and Charles Griffin (Chuckie).
