She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Fountain and Lela Pounders Fountain; her husband Robert Medders; and her brothers, Johnny Fountain and Richard Fountain.
She is survived by: her children, Irene Johnson of Little Rock, AR, Helen Noland of Peoria, IL, Patsy Newman of Jacksonville, TN, Robert Medders and Loretta Bivens of Rosedale, MS; and her sister Reba Holmes of Indianola, MS. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, a host of great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel (3463 MS-8, Cleveland, MS 38732). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the Beulah Cemetery.
