He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Lovejoy and Minnie Lovejoy; and his sisters, Serena Daniels, Marie Starnes, Margaret Lovejoy, Elaine Lovejoy and Hazel Lovejoy.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Lovejoy; his children, Charlene Hall Lindsey (TL), Craig Lovejoy (Mary) and Kirk Lovejoy (Shannon); and his grandchildren, Valerie Gilliam (Justin), Christy Rowland (Kevin), Michael Hall (Amy), Kayla Lovejoy, Eric Lovejoy, Ashley Naron and Michael Naron. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Waller Funeral Home & Cremation Services (419 MS-6, Oxford, MS 38655). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
