He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ida Stevens and Joseph Robert Stevens; and his brother Jody Stevens. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Bolton; his children, Mary Stevens Speights, Lee Stevens and Margaret Yoste Beard (Tyler); his grandchildren, John Speights, Sophia Speights, Caroline Beard, Bolton Beard and Harper Beard; his sister Betty Stevens Turnipseed (Alton); his nephew Jeff Turnipseed (Lea); his nieces, Jeni Turnipseed Adams (Jodie) and Amy Turnipseed Swayze (Allen); and his sister-in-law Sandra Stevens. He is also survived by six great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that each person donate to the charity of their choice.
